One

PROJECT LAUNCH

The project launch will entail conversations to clarify the scope of your project and a direction for the design. We will ask many questions and listen carefully to your answers and comments while we learn about your preferences, what is important to you, and how to make your space blend perfectly with your lifestyle.

Two

CONCEPT PRESENTATION

Once we have enough information, we will prepare our preliminary design concept ideas, which we will present to you using various visual aids. We will be looking for both your immediate reactions and your more considered opinions, asking for an open dialogue that will allow us to understand your ideas and vision, and help us align ours to yours.

Three

DEVELOPMENT & PLANNING

We will begin to prepare a plan that includes any necessary structural layout options, lighting and floor plans and interior finishes, and preliminary options for paint colors, light fixtures, furniture, etc. You can expect several conversations and meetings during design development to discuss options, details, costs and timing and to approve final drawings and layouts.

STRUCTURAL WORK

If your project involves structural work (including interior finishes) we will liaise with all parties to provide any specifications and information you or contractors and subcontractors might need, and to facilitate co-ordination regarding the delivery, installation and final placement of fixtures as specified.

Five

INSTALLATION

Once the “bones” of your project are finalized, we can complete the specifications for furniture and soft furnishings. Each element will be presented to you in the form of a detailed quote. The prices quoted will be the most accurate available, but occasional small variations in final vendor pricing and shipping costs will be reflected on a final invoice.

Six

FINALIZING

On request we will organize, place and oversee the installation of your own artwork and, if you wish, select additional accessories and artwork for you to consider. We will create a punch list of any small items that need to be taken care of and attend to any loose ends right away. Then we will leave you to enjoy your beautiful rooms for years to come.
